Sakura Koyo Berry Sticky Rice

This unique recipe from Jer Umai is a delicious dessert featuring sticky rice and a creamy Koyo Berry topping. And don't worry, you'll top it with fresh berries as well!


1/2 cup Koyo Berries (chopped)
1/2 cup half and half (or equal parts milk and cream)
3 tbsp sugar
1 tsp cornstarch
1 pinch salt
Rose petals
Sesame seeds
Additional fresh Koyo Berries



1. Blend or mash berries into a smoothie and mix with rest of the ingredients, then set it in a saucepan over medium heat and allow the sauce to gently thicken.

2. Serve over fresh sticky rice—garnish with Koyo Berries, sesame seeds, and rose petals.
