Omakase Berry Avocado Tostada

A delicious and unique tostada recipe from @halleyz blends sweet and savory. Try it as an appetizer for a dinner party, or a tasty snack. 

Strawberry Avocado Tostada

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 10 minutes

1 tray Oishii Omakase Berries

4 tostadas *see note below

1 ripe avocado, sliced thinly

1 lime

Pickled jalapeños (red or green), for garnish *optional

Fresh cilantro leaves, for garnish

Flaky salt, to taste

  1. Prep Oishii Berries by slicing some thinly and some in halves.

  2. Layer sliced avocado and sliced and halved Oishii Berries on top of tostada shells.

  3. Cut lime in half and squeeze on top.

  4. Garnish with optional pickled jalapeños and a drizzle of their pickling liquid, a squeeze of lime, fresh cilantro, and a generous pinch of flaky salt.

  5. Serve and enjoy!


You can use store bought tostadas or make your own. To make your own, heat neutral oil in a pan over medium high heat, once hot, gently fry a corn tortilla for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Remove from heat and season with salt.
